Greece

Jamison Creel

Jamison graduated from Lee University in May of 1997. In August of that same year, he made a one-year commitment to serve as a missionary teacher working with the Arab children in East Jerusalem. That one-year commitment grew into a lifelong calling to serve and witness to Muslims.

For 24 years, Jamison served the Palestinian-Arab people of Jerusalem and Bethlehem in a number of capacities, culminating in a 10-year term directing Jerusalem School - Bethlehem and pastoring the international congregation associated with the school. All of that changed in the spring of 2021 when Jamison accepted a call to minister to refugees flooding into Europe, mostly from troubled Islamic nations like Syria and Afghanistan. Jamison now lives in Athens, Greece where he serves as the director of The Mars Hill Initiative, a ministry based in Greece, that aims to share the Gospel with refugee people all over the world.

Along the way Jamison earned a Master's Degree in Middle Eastern Cultures and Religions from Jerusalem University College. He also met and married his wife Kelli. They have five children.

If you would like to connect with Jamison you can do so by emailing him at jamison.creel@gmail.com.  You can also see more about their ministry at marshillinitiative.com.

Israel

Sebastian and Katelyne Schmidgall

Sebastian and Katelyne Schmidgall are dedicated ministers currently serving in Israel, where they oversee the Margaret Gaines Intercultural Study Center situated on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. Their mission is to disciple young people from the Holy Land and the broader Middle East, while also seeking to strengthen local churches and provide support in discipleship and education at the Church of God school in Aboud.

Sebastian, a second-generation minister born in Jerusalem, carries a profound commitment to the people of the Holy Land. Katelyne, hailing from Florida and the daughter of a Church of God minister, shares in Sebastian’s passion. Her journey began during their travels to Jerusalem, where she developed a deep appreciation for the local culture and its people. The couple met at Lee University, where they both pursued their graduate studies—Sebastian earning his Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies and Katelyne her Bachelor's degree. They were united in marriage in 2011 and are blessed with three children: Sebastian Cornelius II, Arcelus Gabriel, and Aurelia Esther.

Myanmar

Robin Kung

In 2004, Robin Kung graduated from the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries in the Philippines with a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership. Upon returning to Myanmar, he taught English Classes and held Sunday Worship Services in a rented apartment until the government shut the ministry down. At that time Myanmar was still under the control of the Military Government. Religious Freedom was legally allowed, but unfortunately, it was not practiced among the people.

In 2006, Robin had the opportunity to travel to Magwe Division to share the Good News of Jesus in villages where there were no Christians. As a result of this ministry, 50 people received Christ as Lord and Saviour and a ministry was formed which is now known as Elim Myanmar. The purpose of this ministry is to plant more churches and minister to the needs of the people. Thus far, with God’s blessing, Robin has planted eight different churches in unreached areas, all with the mission “To reach the lost, train the found, and send out the trained ones into the harvest fields in Myanmar.”

Philippines

Claire Henderson

Claire is a missionary from Ireland to the Philippines where she works with children in crisis situations who need a safe refuge, assistance, intervention, trauma-informed care, psychosocial support, medical help, and someone to advocate for their rights.

As the Executive Director for Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministries, she offers the following programs: Children’s Recovery Unit, Children’s Home, Homeschool, and Hospital Care. The staff at Helping Hands Ministries believes children belong to families. This ministry works hard at family preservation whenever possible and after exhausting every effort to keep a child in their biological family or in kinship care, they support adoption, both domestic and international.

Thailand

Natalie Mahawon

Natalie Mahawon, a native of Cullman and founder of Hope Outreaches, moved to Thailand with a heart for children. A year later, she met her husband Sanan, (a local Thai) who grew up as a child soldier in the Shan army. He was rescued and grew up with a passion for helping other children in the same way he was helped. Today, they serve together in ministry.

In Thailand, one in every two children is at risk of being trafficked. Shockingly, most of the traffickers are the parents of these children. Upon learning this information, Natalie knew that she needed to act quickly to help the children in need. As a result, she started anti-human trafficking prevention programs in some of the most vulnerable areas along the Thai/Burmese border. The Mahawons equip the children with an English education, which opens the door for them to have endless work opportunities in the future. Most importantly, these unreached people are taught about Jesus so He can do the work in transforming their lives and families.

They have also begun to rescue children this year, raising children in family-style homes, so they can grow up knowing what a healthy family looks like! If you would like to see more updates on the ministry of Hope Outreaches click  https://www.facebook.com/HopeOutreaches. If you have any questions or you would like to connect with Natalie personally you can send her an email at Nataliehopeh@gmail.com.
