Job Title: Cullman Campus Administrator

Direct Report: Pastor Chris Dudgeon

Employment Type: Full-Time (Sunday-Thursday)

Location: Daystar Cullman Campus

2. Synopsis of Role

Multi-task position requiring both strong administrative skills and management skills. This position serves the body of Daystar Church by providing various administrative services to Daystar Church in Cullman. The position will require active participation in scheduling events, following proper office procedures, priority assessment, and task coordination.

3. Principal Responsibilities

  • Sunday

    • Dream Team

      • Oversee the various Dream Team Leaders and ensure all critical areas are covered on a given Sunday.

    • Special events coordination

      • Coordinate Child Dedications, Baptisms, and Communion, etc. at the Cullman Campus.

    • First Impressions Campus Director

      • See position description 

    • Be available to the CC Pastor for any needs that should arise.

    • Assist with opening and closing of campus on Sundays.

  • Campus Operations:

    • Manage Daystar Calendar: scheduling events, CC facilities, small groups, etc.

    • Assign and manage small group room reservations every semester

    • Counseling scheduling: manage intake of incoming biblical coaching requests for CC and schedule with appropriate Pastor/Leader.

    • Management of Prepare & Enrich

    • Pastoral Care: assess needs for pastoral care team, send emails to pastoral team, be an active member of the pastoral care team, and order flowers/gifts as needed for various events.

    • Oversee Daystar CC communication to CC staff, volunteers and members.

    • Manage and own Planning Center Online for CC (Workflows, Data Entry, etc).

    • Manage Text in Church for Daystar Church in Cullman.

    • Obtain weekly decision numbers for Pastors making altar call.

    • Input and management of Connect Cards/FTA’s. 

    • Input numbers on GROW site & Weekly Metrics for CC.

    • Prepare & print weekly CC statistics and CC Lead Team meeting agendas for monthly CC Lead Team meeting

    • Weekend Elements 

      • inventory & submit order to global receptionist as needed:

        • offering envelopes, baptism shirts, communion supplies, pens, binders & worship guide items for CC.

    • Maintain inventory of worship guides, connect cards, giving envelopes, “what happens when you give” books, “you are loved” cards, and communicate with Creative for needed supplies.

    • Manage Inventory of Coffee Shop in partnership with the volunteer Dream Team Coffee Shop Lead.

    • Oversee Worship Guide Team.

    • Input purchase orders for CC as needed.

    • Oversee background checks at CC, working in partnership with appropriate ministry leaders to collect initial background checks.

      • Verify quarterly that all appropriate team members have completed a background check. (Background checks must be renewed every 2 years)

    • Additional administrative duties as needed by CC Pastor.

    • Prioritize meetings for campus administrators and meetings that relate to the administration of Daystar Church in Cullman.

    • Weekly deposit processing on Mondays.

  • Facilities/Equipment:

    • Maintain/Manage CC items such as tablecloths, decorations, special events equipment, etc.

    • Manage scheduling for facilities use and Daystar Church events that pertain to Daystar Church in Cullman.

    • Coordinate with Campus Pastor for key-fob distribution.

    • Maintain a presentable campus.

    • Close down the campus & make sure it is presentable for the next day.
