About Us

We are a church fueled by great faith and we’ve seen God do things that only He can do: lives changed, marriages restored, families healed, and hearts made whole. As God continues to increase the size of our platform, we are aggressively pursuing opportunities to reach more and more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout all of North Alabama.

Meet Our Pastor

Our Lead Pastor, Jerry Lawson, has a heart to reach our city and beyond with the life-transforming message of Jesus. We believe in the next generation and value the wisdom and guidance of those that have gone before us. Together, we will see community transformation through the love and power of Jesus.

A Church for the Whole Family

We have age-appropriate experiences designed just for your children. At Daystar Kids, our mission is to develop leaders who are passionately in love with Jesus. Each week, future world-changers grow more in love with God and his house through worship, interactive lessons, and of course, fun!

We meet each Wednesday 6:30pm-8:00pm. 1st through 5th grade boys and girls will be following the Team Kid Curriculum. We will be learning each week how to love your neighbor, engage in community, and live on mission for Jesus.

Sundays and Wednesdays at Daystar Cullman | Newborn-6th Grade

We believe our youth need a place to cut loose, be with good friends, and find some peace. On Wednesdays, we hang out and play some games, talk about Jesus, and walk alongside students as they learn to follow Jesus.

Wednesdays at Daystar Cullman | 6:30-8P

Small groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life with a community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why small groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
